Kelly is the interim Director of Business Development for Volexion, while pursuing his MBA at Harvard Business School (graduating in the spring of 2022).
In parallel to his MBA program, Kelly previously worked at Nth Cycle, a Clean Energy Ventures portfolio company, focusing on building out their business models, developing financial models.
Prior to joining HBS, Kelly worked at NextEra Energy on building out the business strategy and structure of FPL’s distributed generation space mostly focusing on residential storage & electric vehicle (EV) solutions. Before NextEra he worked in Management Consulting at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) primarily within the industrial goods sector.
In addition to his work in the private sector, he invests much of his time getting engaged in public life, athletics, and HBS organizations.
Kelly holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering (with University Honors) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a minor in International Studies. He studied abroad in the United Kingdom at the University of Manchester and holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in Industrial and Operations Engineering and is a Tauber Global Operations Fellow.
