Pedram is currently a research engineer at Volexion. He earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit in 2016. His Ph.D. work was focused on nanocrystals and manipulating the morphology of the materials in nanoscale using electrochemical techniques. During his graduate studies, he develops a wide range of nanomaterials including charge-transfer salt nanowires for electrochemical sensing and controlled gold nanoparticle synthesis using electrochemical techniques. Since then, Pedram been working in the battery industry as an electrochemist working on Li-ion batteries. His research interests include lithium-ion batteries, cathode, and silicon materials.
